If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian permission.

Waypoint provides a digital command center for managing the college application process, including:

• Task and deadline tracking
• Essay management tools
• AI-powered planning and insights
• Document storage and analytics

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Verify all deadlines, requirements, and advice independently

You may not:

• Abuse or overload the platform
• Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the system
• Upload malicious, illegal, or infringing content

4. AI Disclaimer

The AI Counselor is an assistive tool, not a replacement for counselors, advisors, or official admissions sources.

Waypoint is not responsible for:

• Missed deadlines
• Incorrect admissions decisions
• Errors generated by AI outputs

Use the Service as a planning aid, not a guarantee.

5. Intellectual Property

All platform content, code, design, and branding are owned by Waypoint unless otherwise stated.

You retain ownership of your content (essays, documents, notes), but grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the Service.

6. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten platform security.

You may delete your account at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Waypoint is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Waypoint from any claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
